Letterpress Printer

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual for a Letterpress Printer. The perfect candidate will have experience in printing, specifically letterpress, as well as a desire to work in a creative and stimulating environment.

Seasonal Letterpress print assistant

Our letterpress assistants are key to the success of our letterpress department. This is a great role for someone interested in learning more about the art of letterpress printing or honing their studio organization skills. Tasks may include preparing jobs for the letterpress printers, operating our industrial cutter, die cutting, mixing inks and color matching, inventory, and other printing-related tasks as assigned.

Wholesale Custom collections coordinator

Our Custom Collection Coordinator will coordinate and manage all aspects of the sales, creation, and shipment of our custom collection sales tools. This individual will regularly communicate with our current wholesale vendor accounts on their collection update needs and questions, as well as processing new account applications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, production, and retail or wholesale sales for stationery, gift, or luxury products. This is a full-time hourly position (plus commission) with immediate availability.

Director of operations

Our Director of Operations will oversee all of Haute Papier’s production and will be the project manager for all departments to ensure that all orders are being processed, printed and shipped in a timely manner. In addition to overseeing policies and procedures, the Director of Operations will work directly with the company owners to establish company goals and needs. This position also oversees HR processes to include interviewing, on-boarding, performance evaluations, managing payroll and employee relations. The perfect candidate will have a proven history of managing numerous projects and team members and a background in printing, stationery, or production of luxury goods.


Internships at Haute Papier

An internship at Haute Papier provides a unique, invaluable hands-on experience to learn about many different aspects of Haute Papier. We are actively seeking creative, motivated and reliable students who are interested in learning about production, finishing, printing, marketing, business, and other aspects of running a small company.  The internship covers all aspects of Haute Papier and interns are expected to spend time with each department, working on a variety of different projects. Flexibility and enthusiasm are key for success. Due to the boutique nature of our company, students are given a great amount of freedom to excel and focus on different departments. 

As a small company, Haute Papier is only able to accept one to two interns per season. Internships are available as paid or for college credit and a minimum of 15 hours per week.  Must be local to the DC area & love paper and people. To be considered for an internship with Haute Papier, please send your resume and a cover letter explaining why you want to work at Haute Papier, as well as what you’d like to learn during your internship, to info (at) hautepapier (dot) com.
